Serious Injuries in Elmwood Crash

A 39-year-old Arran-Elderslie woman has been airlifted to London after colliding with a tractor.

An collision between a Buick SUV and a farm tractor in Elmwood has left one person with serious injuries.

South Bruce OPP say the crash happened just before 4 Thursday afternoon at Concession 12 and Side road 25 in Brant Township.

Police arrived with members of the Elmwood Fire Department and Bruce County paramedics to find that a red Buick Rainier and a John Deere 7810 tractor had collided.

The driver and passenger of the Buick were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Then the 39-year-old Arran-Elderslie woman driving the Buick was transferred to a London hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit are assisting the South Bruce OPP continue to investigate.

The South Bruce OPP are requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
